Vantaa— Few hours
Though technically its own city, Vantaa is considered by many to be a Helsinki suburb, and it is where most visitors land when they fly to Finland.Kick off your visit on the 17th (Tue): get curious at Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Pyhan Laurin kirkko, then examine the collection at Ainola - The Home of Aino and Jean Sibelius, and finally stroll through Kuusijarvi.
For more things to do, photos, ratings, and more tourist information, go to the Vantaa itinerary planner.
If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airport is Helsinki Vantaa Airport. Expect a daytime high around 24°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
