Do some cultural sightseeing at Stromforsin ruukki and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Step out of the city life by going to Santalahti Nature Trail and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Helsinki: Linden Esplanade (in Kotka) and Cathedral of Porvoo (in Porvoo). Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Visit Turku Castle and The Church of the Holy Cross for their historical value. Escape the urban bustle at Teijo national park and Kurjenrahka National Park. Change things up with a short trip to Old Rauma in Rauma (about 1h 30 min away). Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral, stroll through Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, have fun at Moomin World, and gain interesting insight with Ett Hem Museum.
