Step out of the city life by going to Kurjenrahka National Park and Yyteri Beach. Museum-lovers will get to explore Sarkanniemi Theme Park and Laukko Manor. Venture out of the city with trips to Hame Castle (in Haemeenlinna), Padasjoki (Padasjoen Tuomastornit & Paijanne-Ilves Trail) and Stone Castle of Pirunvuori (in Sastamala). Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll explore and learn at Fortress of Suomenlinna and Kansallisgalleria. Do your shopping at Sibelius Hall and Marimekko. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Helsinki: Kotka (Santalahti Nature Trail & Lehman), Valkmusa National Park (in Siltakyla) and Nuuksio National Park (in Espoo).
