An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sun): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then look for gifts at Kauppakeskus Sampokeskus, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church, and finally get engrossed in the history at Arktikum. On the 7th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: find something for the whole family at Santa Claus Village and then examine the collection at Christmas House Santa.
