You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower and Himos Ski Resort. Visiting Ahtari Zoo and Yyteri Beach will get you outdoors. Explore Tampere's surroundings by going to Church of Keuruu (in Keuruu), Marttinen (in Virrat) and St Olaf's Church in Tyrvaa (in Sastamala). Spend the 9th (Sat) exploring nature at Päijänteen kansallispuisto. see Sarkanniemi Theme Park. There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Rauhaniemi Beach, enjoy some diversion at Pyynikki's Swim Hall, take in the spiritual surroundings of Tampere Cathedral, and see the interesting displays at Automobile & Road Museum Mobilia.
