Offering activities year-round, Serena Water Park features a waterpark in summer and a snowboard and ski park in winter. You can soak up the water in indoor pools and outdoor slides at the waterpark, which also provides showers and locker facilities. There is also a traditional Finnish sauna open all year for skiers and swimmers. A nearby adventure park in the surrounding hills adds an extra touch of summer fun with ziplines, rappelling, and paintball. In winter, you can rent skis or a snowboard, as well as a helmet, by the hour. The attraction is popular with local visitors, so book lodging ahead of time if you plan to stay overnight. You'll get a discount if you purchase a combined ticket for the snowpark and the waterpark. Serena Water Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Espoo Edition.
Serena Water Park Reviews
Modern huge and fresh waterpark, suitable for the entire family. Hint: come here a cloudy summerday and you will have almost no lines. Fresh fast food restaurants available as well. Clean and neat, a ... more »
Kaverin kanssa Serenassa kesän kuumimpana päivänä. Kolmas visiitti kolmen vuoden aikana. Valitsimme retkelle huonon päivän: kaikkialle oli valtavat jonot. Ensin sisälle, sitten liukuihin, ruokapaikkaa... more »With a friend in Serena on the hottest day of summer. The third visied over three years. We chose the excursion for a bad day: everywhere there were huge queues. First inside, then to the sliding, to the food place... The Jätsk was not even attempted to retrieve. There was only one cashier in the food place, even though the queue was up to the door. The food is very expensive in Serena, and in all three years there have been the same saps. The water slides are absolutely top, but the queues were long and the queuing practices were extremely unclear: people were overtaken and others stood in the queue for too long when queuing in the wrong glide. More signs and instruction would be desperately needed especially for the Black hole, Tornado and the 120-metre putkil'un queue area. The new (?) traffic light in the wild stream does not work as such. The people were tipped up in their turn to wait, the children were constantly passing in spite of the remarks, and the noise level rose dangerously high when there was a cliff under the thrower. Might work in quieter times, but certainly not on peak days. The staff would need to be monitored to ensure that the Suma is not born. The number of staff and supervisors should be at least double. The tyre slides were low on the tires and were tedied in the pool under people's and hands. People were left under the skiers when they waited too close to a sliding mouth. The floors are slippery, the stairs so worn and scared, the dressing rooms old fashioned and the cleaning staff is all too little. It seems that Serena is driving down and the owners just try to make the most of the last penny, the safety and comfort of the viis. And it's sad because Serena would have enormous potential and the sliding remains just awesome.
For the kids this place is a lot of fun! For adults it's fun with kids, just for adults not so much. The park is big enough for one day entertainment and definitely worth a visit, if you are into water and games.
Good facility. Not the best for sure but there are fun slides and attractions. Unfortunately most of floors tiled and they are quickly getting slippery. They put some "Caution Wet Floor" sign. Well floors could get wet in a water park, it wouldn't be a surprise. This is the only bad thing. You can have fun for hours.
