It opened to the public on June 3, 2014. It was originally named the Finnair SkyWheel and its placement on Katajanokka harbor is where the airline Finnair first located its flight operations in the 1920s.

  • The round goes three times, so you can enjoy the view fully. The staff is friendly and you can get a student discount. Compared to the view-wheels in other cities it's smaller and less exciting but in Helsinki you get the view on the city center and I would consider it worth it.
  • Helsinki Skywheel offers 3 turns and a great view of central Helsinki. It has a sauna cabin and a VIP cabin so if you want to ride it in style you can spend a great time here 👍
