  Our group, together with a Finnish Cantor attended the Orthodox Church, which was then unfortunately locked. But also the nearby cemetery was worth a visit. The details of our specialist to the catchment area of the Church was impressive. Just visiting from outside worth a visit, if you not only therefore travels to Nellim. Sure end 2018 the renewal of the road from Italo to Nellim in the swing, is up-to-date, which can hamper access to something depending on the condition.

  The Russian border a wooden Orthodox church dating back to the 1950s and built by Samis who left the Soviet Union after WW2. Site of an incredible calm under the snow in the forest. Possible walk to the vicinity to Nellim.
