Kemi Church is a Finnish Evangelical Lutheran church of the Diocese of Oulu. The church is located in the centre of the town of Kemi in Northern Finland.
The Gothic Revival building was designed by architect Josef Stenbäck and it was completed in 1902.
The building was renovated in 2003.

  • Church in the Centre of Kemi is likely what is the reason for the show during travel period of the year. Winter here is full of entertainment, proximity to Rovaniemi, the spirit of the North Pole. You can still view the impressive huge wind turbines nearby (there are several).

  • This is a fine church in a “nothing else to do” town. The people of the town first had an issue when they painted it pink but pink was the original color so it is fitting that they changed it.  more »
