Shaman Huskies was founded in 2017. The original idea of the company got its start from realizing how amazing creatures huskies and wolves actually. We wanted to create a platform for these beautiful animals to be what they are really like and express their true colors in the most authentic way. Finnish Lapland with it's arctic and peaceful nature offers us a great opportunity to fulfill our dreams about mystic adventures between humans and huskies. Our goal is to build an ecological environment for the dogs and for all travelers and we want to protect our precious winters.Planning Rovaniemi trip won't be overwheling when you use's Insprock itinerary maker.
Huskies of all kinds have a very long history of being sled-dogs. Siberian huskies were used as assistants hunting trips and helping people in Siberia already more than 3,000 years ago. Winter is the most natural habitat for huskies and pulling sledges in deep snow is what they do best and they enjoy it more than anything. Due to their history they are very energetic and athletic as well as playful, kind and social. Besides running and pulling sledges they love to eat, sleep, dig and to be pampered. Huskies have great individual personalities and they all look different from each other. Their looks can also change when they age.

Amazing time. Great conditions for the dogs. They love to run and play. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We booked an hour before at "One Day in Lapland" in town and drove ourselves out there with our rental car. 2KM loop was plenty of experience for us. Dress warmly and then add another layer again! Easy directions, Google map pin is correct. Just look for the paw print sign on the left when you are coming from town.
What an amazing place! The dogs are so friendly and the staff patient and informative. The sled ride was also a lot of fun. I really recommend this place for a more local and personal experience
