Admire nature, striking views, and a tasty treat in the famous cafe at Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower. Stroll through the conservation park before heading over to the site's cultural landmark, the observation tower. The first tower was built in this spot in 1868; the current structure was completed in 1929, after destruction from the civil war. Climb to the top of the tower for scenic panoramas, and be sure to visit its cafe, beloved by locals and visitors for its doughnuts, which have been made using the same recipe since the early 20th century. Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower Reviews
Mielestäni Pyynikin näkötornista on Tampereen parhaat maisemat, vaikkei se kaupungin korkein rakennus olekaan. Viemme sinne aina ulkomaalaiset vieraat, jotka ovat kovasti tykänneet. Tietenkin samalla ... more »I think the pyynikki observation tower is the best scenery, even if it's the tallest building in the city. We are always foreign guests, who are very fond of tykänneet. Of course, at the same time, we have to enjoy the city's best doughnut. If there is no huonojalkainen, so you should go to the center of the Tower (or anywhere else near) on foot, and enjoy the scenery of the Pyynikinharjun "from". The weekends can be crowded, especially in the coffee shop, and a car parkkeerauksessa.
more »Forest of Birch Lake and leaves from the top of the tower so I just went to the fall foliage season is so very, very good. We saw white steam rising from the chimney of the Tampere city. I think eating donuts I climbed the Tower, falling toward the beach and stroll along the forest, and in the No. 25 bus back to the city. So be nice even in winter cold, so warm clothing, such as hats and gloves!
Great views of lakes around Tampere. Especially the cafeteria in the tower serving sweet balls that are super yummy. Even gluten-free options available.
We absolutely loved this place. Pretty relaxing cozy place to visit. Especially don't forget to have the Cinnamon Doughnuts. They are absolutely fantastic. And the pathway that leads up to this place is pretty amazing!
