  • Great little museum housing Dakota's and some rare planes. Out of the way area. Get off the train at Aviapolis. One stop before the Helsinki airport. Exit and turn left, then walk past bus stops and c...  more »
  • When I got off at Aviapolis Station, there was a little indication, and when I got out of the station building, I was stunned just because there was a hotel in front of me. When I calmed you down and turned around the back side of the station building, I saw an outdoor exhibition machine. This was a museum. Because I did not avoid a lot of time to visit, I only went around early, but it was a facility that is unbearable for the airplane lover. On the map, it seemed to be a place close to the airport, but there was no landmark and it seemed to get lost, so I decided to use the train for both round trips.

  • Nice place to spend some time if you are around airport. Short distance from the underground it has a lot of history of Finnish aviation since WW I, including modern times. I recommend it especially when traveling with kids.
  • Good explanation of exhibits also in English. Simulator and kids activity room is great.
