Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 3rd (Fri), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rock Church, take an in-depth tour of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then learn about all things military at Fortress of Suomenlinna, then hunt for treasures at Hakaniemi Market, and finally explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Helsinki is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry; or do a combination of flight and train. When traveling from Tel Aviv in May, plan for slightly colder days and colder nights in Helsinki: temperatures range from 18°C by day to 7°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Kotka.

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Start off your visit on the 4th (Sat): take in nature's colorful creations at Sapokka Water Garden, have fun at Katariina Seaside Park, then examine the collection at Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum, then admire the natural beauty at Sibelius Park, and finally admire the striking features of Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth.

Kick off your visit on the 5th (Sun): explore the historical opulence of Olavinlinna Castle, pause for some serene contemplation at Pikkukirkko, stop by Taito Shop Savonlinna, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kerimaki Church, then view the masterpieces at Johanna Oras Art Gallery, and finally examine the collection at Lusto - The Finnish Forest Museum.
