Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Kick off your visit on the 24th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church, then hike along Juutua Nature Trail, and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. On the 25th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm and then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Lemmenjoki National Park.

Kick off your visit on the 26th (Wed): stroll through Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm and then grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. On the 27th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: view the masterpieces at LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery, then join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, then hit the slopes at Kids' Land, and finally visit Ounasjoki - River for activities.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Fri): see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, then hit the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy, and then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum. Keep things going the next day: get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, and then see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa.
