Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). Shop till you drop at Market Square Kauppatori and Kamppi Shopping Centre. Step out of Helsinki to go to Espoo and see Nuuksio National Park, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, wander the streets of Katajanokka, stroll through The Esplanadi Park, and steep yourself in history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Turku Castle and Archangel Michael's church. Do your shopping at Turun Taidehalli and Turun Kauppahalli. When in Turku, make a side trip to see Bellevue Beach in Hanko, approximately Hanko away. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Naantali Old Town, identify plant and animal life at Vepsa Island, shop like a local with Gallery A, and explore the landscape on two wheels at Bike Rental - by Carfield.
