Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Kids will enjoy Temppeliaukio Church and Sea Fortress Suomenlinna. Step out of Helsinki to go to Espoo and see Nuuksio National Park, which is approximately 48 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, don't miss a visit to Senate Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and admire the landmark architecture of Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Vaasa is a city on the west coast of Finland. Start off your visit on the 7th (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Mustasaaren kirkko, then examine the collection at Pohjanmaan Museo - Osterbottens Museum, and then step off the mainland to explore Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site.

Lieksa

Lieksa is a town and municipality of Finland.It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region. Bring the kids along to Utra Beach and Paalasmaan Surukivi. Venture out of the city with trips to Koli National Park (Uhrihalkeama, Ukko-Koli Hill, &more), Koli Shop Retkitupa (in Koli) and Joensuu (Sculpture Susi Kosiomatkalla & Botania - Botanical Garden and Tropical Butterfly Garden). There's more to do: make a trip to Paateri and see the interesting displays at Pielisen Museum.
