Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Temppeliaukio Church. Step out of Helsinki with an excursion to Heureka in Vantaa--about 32 minutes away. There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, make a trip to Senate Square, tour the pleasant surroundings at The Esplanadi Park, and take an in-depth tour of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sun): have fun at Pyynikki's Swim Hall and then find something for the whole family at Sarkanniemi Theme Park. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
