Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Tue): admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, browse the exhibits of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, and then step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna. On your second day here, admire the striking features of Cathedral of Porvoo, then walk around The Esplanadi Park, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).
