An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 6th (Thu), don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, see Santa Claus Office, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally get curious at Pilke Science Centre. On the next day, get some fabulous bargains at Marttiini Store Old Factory, catch a live event at Lappi Areena, then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, and finally have some family-friendly fun at Snowman World Igloo Hotel.
