Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Luosto (Kopara Reindeer Park & Amethyst Mine Lapland). There's much more to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, and identify plant and animal life at Napapiirin Porofarmi.
