Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Attractions like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Senate Square make great kid-friendly stops. When in Helsinki, make a side trip to see Heureka in Vantaa, approximately Vantaa away. The adventure continues: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, explore the engaging exhibits at Finnish Toy Museum Hevosenkenka, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Korkeasaaren Elaintarha, and appreciate the extensive heritage of The Esplanadi Park.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Family-friendly places like Sarkanniemi Theme Park and Riihiniemen Uimaranta will thrill your kids. Explore Tampere's surroundings by going to Viihdeuimala Vesihelmi (in Forssa) and Ahvenisto (in Hameenlinna). There's much more to do: enjoy some diversion at Pyynikki's Swim Hall, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Alexander Nevsky and St. Nicholas, examine the collection at Emil Aaltosen Museo, and kick back and relax at Rauhaniemi Beach.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
