An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Change things up with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua (about 1 hour away). The adventure continues: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre, make a trip to Lordi's Square, and see the interesting displays at Santa's House of Snowmobiles.
