Nestled among vast forests and fells, Luosto represents a small idyllic resort village set on the edge of Pyha-Luosto National Park.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): identify plant and animal life at Kopara Reindeer Park, take in the awesome beauty at Luosto, then go deep underground at Amethyst Mine Lapland, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Luosto Adventures.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 3rd (Sat), experience rural life at Tuula's Reindeer, trek along Juutua Nature Trail, and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. On the next day, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, and then head outdoors with Lake Inari.

Traveling by car from Luosto to Inari takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In October, daytime highs in Inari are 3°C, while nighttime lows are -2°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Levi.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): relax in the rural setting at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm and then explore the striking landscape of Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. On the 6th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
When in Rovaniemi, make a side trip to see Ranua Zoo in Ranua, approximately Ranua away. Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, admire the masterpieces at Korundi House of Culture, take in the dramatic scenery at Auttikongas, and don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square.

You can drive from Levi to Rovaniemi in 2.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. October in Rovaniemi sees daily highs of 3°C and lows of -1°C at night. On the 10th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
