Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas and then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum. On the next day, make a trip to Santa Claus Office, then explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery, then fly down the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy, and finally look for gifts at Your Piece Of Finland.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 27th (Wed), look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental and then identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Thu): explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 29th (Fri), fly down the slopes at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort.
