Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.

Riga, Latvia to Levi is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Riga in July, with highs in Levi at 22°C and lows at 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to travel to Saariselka.

Saariselka

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 17th (Fri), surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel, and then trek along Urho Kekkonen National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get outside with Lake Inari, see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and then trek along Juutua Nature Trail.

Traveling by flight from Levi to Saariselka takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) so you can travel to Pyhatunturi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
