An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Plan my day in Rovaniemi using traveler tips and tourist information provided by Inspirock.

Copenhagen, Denmark to Rovaniemi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Copenhagen to Rovaniemi. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Copenhagen in June: highs in Rovaniemi hover around 18°C, while lows dip to 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to travel to Posio.

Start off your visit on the 2nd (Tue): explore the world behind art at Sarestoniemi Museum and then experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm. On the 3rd (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.

Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 4th (Thu): wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus, relax in the rural setting at Inari Reindeer Farm, and then see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. On the 5th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, get outside with Lake Inari, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church.

Nestled among vast forests and fells, Luosto represents a small idyllic resort village set on the edge of Pyha-Luosto National Park.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sat): pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Sodankyla and then shop like a local with Museum - Gallery Alariesto. Keep things going the next day: identify plant and animal life at Kopara Reindeer Park.
