Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Sat): admire the striking features of Aleksanterin Kirkko. On the 15th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Tampereen Tuomiokirkko, enjoy the sand and surf at Rauhaniemi Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Suolijarvi Beach.

Zagreb, Croatia to Tampere is an approximately 7.5- hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of shuttle, flight, and train; or drive. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time to Eastern European Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from Zagreb in July, things will get little chillier in Tampere: highs are around 24°C and lows about 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Turku.

Kick off your visit on the 17th (Tue): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Kurjenrahka National Park, step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and then kick back and relax at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the natural beauty at Kultaranta Garden, have some family-friendly fun at Moomin World, get lost in a book at Turku City Library, then see the interesting displays at Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral.

Imatra

Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 21st (Sat), see the interesting displays at Karelian Farmhouse Open Air Museum, head off the coast to Lammassaari Island, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Joutsenon kirkko, then take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Imatrankoski Church.
