Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
On the 29th (Mon), take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamppi Chapel of Silence. On the 30th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: expand your understanding of the military at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Hakaniemi Market, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Naantali Old Town and Forum Marinum Maritime Centre. Do your shopping at Turun Kauppahalli and Ruokapuoti Lumo. When in Turku, make a side trip to see Old Rauma in Rauma, approximately 1h 30 min away. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo, explore the ancient world of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, get lost in a book at Turku City Library, and contemplate the long history of Turku Cathedral.

Your inner history buff will appreciate Tampereen Tuomiokirkko and Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing. Get in touch with nature at Hatanpaa Arboretum and Yyteri Beach. When in Tampere, make a side trip to see Seitsemisen Kansallispuisto in Ylojarvi, approximately 58 minutes away.
