An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 6th (Tue), take an exotic tour of a safari tour, examine the collection at Santa's House of Snowmobiles, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village. On the 7th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: identify plant and animal life at Napapiirin Porofarmi and then look for all kinds of wild species at Arctic Emotions Oy.

Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Get some cultural insight at Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral. Popular historic sites such as St Henry's Ecumenical Art Chappel and Abo Akademi are in your itinerary. Step out of Turku to go to Pernio and see Teijo National Park, which is approximately 1h 20 min away.
