An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Bring the kids along to Santa Claus Village and SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus. Take a break from Rovaniemi with a short trip to Ranua Zoo in Ranua, about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, let little ones run wild at Angry Birds Park, and stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier.

Kids will enjoy Levi Ski Resort and Giewont Husky Adventures. Step out of Levi to go to Yllasjarvi and see Safartica Yllas, which is approximately 48 minutes away. The adventure continues: bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi and look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental.
