Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Visiting Aurinkolahti Beach and Hietaranta Beach will get you outdoors. Appreciate the collections at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. There's much more to do: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), take a stroll through Ullanlinna, and look for gifts at Marimekko Oyj.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Tue): bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, then explore the striking landscape of Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm. On your second day here, grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.

Getting from Tampere to Levi by combination of flight and bus takes about 5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train, flight, and bus; or drive. In February, Levi is little chillier than Tampere - with highs of -5°C and lows of -12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Thu): make a trip to Lordi's Square, look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then get curious at Pilke Science Centre, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally stop by Your Piece Of Finland. On the 15th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, then see Santa Claus Office, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village.
