Daughter of the Baltic

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and The National Museum of Finland. Do some cultural sightseeing at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). Get out of town with these interesting Helsinki side-trips: Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto (in Vantaa), Tuusula (Tuusulanjarvi (Lake Tuusula) & Lotta Museum) and Espoo (Nuuksio National Park, Kaitalampi, &more). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria, learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), get outside with Haagan Alppiruusupuisto, and admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church.
