An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Sat): find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, then don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square, and finally stop by Your Piece Of Finland. Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 15th (Tue), tour the pleasant surroundings at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort. Keep things going the next day: look for gifts at Shamaan Design - Lappi Shop, then fly down the slopes at Urho Kekkonen National Park, and then find something for the whole family at Angry Birds Activity Park.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Go for a jaunt from Levi to Kittila to see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage about 46 minutes away. Spend the 17th (Thu) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
