On the 13th (Tue), look for all kinds of wild species at Hatanpaa Arboretum, examine the collection at Lenin Museum, then examine the collection at Vapriikin Museokeskus, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tampereen Tuomiokirkko. Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Turku Castle and Forum Marinum Maritime Centre. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Turku Cathedral and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turku: Rauma (Burial Site of Sammallahdenmaki & Old Rauma) and Kurjenrahka National Park (in Poytya). Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
