Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 48 minutes away). The adventure continues: brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, find something for the whole family at Linnanmaki Amusement Park, and admire the striking features of Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Venture out of the city with trips to Seitsemisen Kansallispuisto (in Ylojarvi) and Visavuori (in Valkeakoski). Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, then see the interesting displays at Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and finally get your game on at Moomin World. On your second day here, get to know the fascinating history of Old Rauma, hike along The Archipelago Trail, and then hike along Bike Rental - by Carfield.
