Daughter of the Baltic

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Visiting Aurinkolahti Beach and Hietaranta Beach will get you outdoors. Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Ullanlinna are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's much more to do: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, make a trip to Senate Square, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, and admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.

Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Fri): step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, then kick back and relax at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, then examine the collection at Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral. On the 26th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get advice or help at Turku City Library, then get engrossed in the history at Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Kurjenrahka National Park.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sun): stroll around Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower, kick back and relax at Suolijarvi Beach, then stop by Hameenkatu, and finally take in the views from Hameensilta. Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at Rauhaniemi Beach, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Tampereen Tuomiokirkko, then see the interesting displays at Spy Museum, and finally stop by Alko.

Rovaniemi

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Wed): get some fabulous bargains at Marttiini Store Old Factory, identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
