Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step off the beaten path and head to Nuuksio National Park and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Popular historic sites such as Temppeliaukion Church and Cathedral of Porvoo are in your itinerary. Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Porvoo to see Porvoo Old Town about 50 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, stroll around The Esplanadi Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamppi Chapel of Silence, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.

Prague, Czech Republic to Helsinki is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and ferry. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Prague to Helsinki due to the time zone difference. Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 19th (Fri), pause for some serene contemplation at Rautjarven kirkko, kick back and relax at Lempukka Beach, then step off the mainland to explore Lammassaari Island, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Nicholas, and finally admire the sheer force of Imatra Waterfall.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Old Rauma and Turku Castle. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Turku Cathedral and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. When in Turku, make a side trip to see Teijo National Park in Pernio, approximately 1h 15 min away.
