An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): take in the views from Lumberjack's Candle Bridge and then make a trip to Lordi's Square. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: make a trip to Marttiinin Wanha Tehdas, then take an exotic tour of a safari tour, then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, and finally get in on the family fun at Santa Claus Village.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
On the 25th (Wed), get in on the family fun at Sarkanniemi Theme Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tampere Cathedral, then examine the collection at Vapriikin Museokeskus, then contemplate the long history of Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing, and finally take in panoramic vistas at Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, then see the interesting displays at Luostarinmaki Handicrafts Museum, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Archangel Michael's church. Keep things going the next day: get lost in a book at Turku City Library, explore the ancient world of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, and then have fun at Moomin World.

Traveling by train from Tampere to Turku takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. July in Turku sees daily highs of 24°C and lows of 13°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sat) so you can go by car to Helsinki.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Pack the 30th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Fortress of Suomenlinna, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Rock Church, and pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral.
