Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Thu): take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, take an in-depth tour of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, thenstep into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Archangel Michael's church.

Kuusamo is a town and municipality in Finland. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Fri): admire the masterpieces at Hannu Hautala Nature Photography Centre and then experience rural life at Palosaari Reindeer and Fishing Farm. Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 14th (Thu), contemplate the waterfront views at Saimaa Canal, admire the striking features of Lappeen Marian kirkko, and then admire the sheer force of Imatra Waterfall. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Joutsenon kirkko, thenstep off the mainland to explore Malonsaari, and then step off the mainland to explore Lammassaari Island.
