Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Step off the beaten path and head to Katajanokka and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Your inner history buff will appreciate Cathedral of St Henry and Raseborg Castle. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Helsinki: EKTA museum (in Raseborg), Fagervik Museum (in Inkoo) and Hvittrask (in Kirkkonummi). There's still lots to do: learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria, pause for some serene contemplation at Snappertunan kirkko, and stop by OMA Puoti.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Step off the beaten path and head to Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Gold Prospector Museum and Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church. Take a break from Inari with a short trip to Hippupuoti Gift Shop in Saariselka, about 1 hour away. There's more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Wed): take an in-depth tour of Arktikum and then see the top attractions with Feelapland.
