Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Senate Square. And it doesn't end there: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, tour the pleasant surroundings at The Esplanadi Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Bring the kids along to Santa Claus Village and Arktikum. Step out of Rovaniemi with an excursion to Ranua Zoo in Ranua--about 1 hour away. Next up on the itinerary: get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, enjoy some diversion at Angry Birds Park, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, and look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier.
