Step off the beaten path and head to Hatanpaa Arboretum and Nasinneula Tower. Get in touch with nature at Paijanne-Ilves Trail and Pohtiolampi. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Tampere: Veturimuseo (in Akaa) and Holy Cross Church (in Parola). Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Get in touch with nature at Nuuksio National Park and Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto. Step off the beaten path and head to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Paavolan Tammi. Venture out of the city with trips to Hanko (Gunnarstrand, Tulliniemi Nature Path, &more), Hagen - Ramsholmen - Hogholmen (in Raseborg) and Nuuksio Reindeer Park (in Espoo). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, visit Katajanokka, get engrossed in the history at Finnish Aviation Museum, and steep yourself in history at Mannerheim Museum.
