An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Explore Rovaniemi's surroundings by going to Amethyst Mine Lapland (in Luosto) and Ranua Zoo (in Ranua). Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 7th (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, take in the pleasant sights at Otsamo Fell, and then experience rural life at Tuula's Reindeer. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 8th (Tue): examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, relax in the rural setting at Inari Reindeer Farm, and then wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
When in Levi, make a side trip to see Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park in Muonio, approximately Muonio away. Spend the 9th (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. And it doesn't end there: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, relax in the rural setting at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm, fly down the slopes at Kids' Land, and stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental.
