Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Venture out of the city with trips to Seven Fells Up (in Akaslompolo) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Spend the 24th (Thu) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's still lots to do: bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental, see exotic creatures in open habitats at Lapland Safaris Levi, and fly down the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort.

Augusta, USA to Levi is an approximately 25-hour combination of flight and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Augusta to Levi. Traveling from Augusta in February, expect Levi to be cooler, temps between 24°F and 13°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Saariselka.

Saariselka

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Explore Saariselka's surroundings by going to Inari (Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center & Juutua Nature Trail). Spend the 27th (Sun) exploring nature at Urho Kekkonen National Park. There's still lots to do: surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour and hit the slopes at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort.

Drive from Levi to Saariselka in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In February in Saariselka, expect temperatures between 22°F during the day and 9°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Tue) early enough to go by car to Rovaniemi.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Rovaniemi is known for museums, nightlife, and wildlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.

Traveling by car from Saariselka to Rovaniemi takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 30°F in March, and nighttime lows around 17°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
