An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away. On the next day, experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm and then explore the striking landscape of Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park.
