Oulu is a city and municipality of inhabitants in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Kick off your visit on the 9th (Tue): take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Wed): Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, and then don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square. Here are some ideas for day two: look for all kinds of wild species at Napapiirin Porofarmi, then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, and then hit the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy.

You can take a train from Oulu to Rovaniemi in 3 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Oulu in February, expect nights in Rovaniemi to be about the same, around 14°F, while days are little chillier, around 22°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Levi.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Levi Ski Resort and Kids' Land. Get outdoors at Safaris and Yllas Ski Resort. Go for a jaunt from Levi to Kittila to see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage about 46 minutes away. There's still lots to do: bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures, and look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Traveling by car from Rovaniemi to Levi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 24°F in February, and nighttime lows around 13°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) so you can travel to Saariselka.

Saariselka

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 15th (Mon), stroll through Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and then pause for some serene contemplation at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel. On the 16th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stop by Hippupuoti Gift Shop, fly down the slopes at Urho Kekkonen National Park, and then find something for the whole family at Angry Birds Activity Park.

Traveling by flight from Levi to Saariselka takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In February, plan for daily highs up to 22°F, and evening lows to 9°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) early enough to travel to Helsinki.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Nuuksio National Park and Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo). Step out of Helsinki to go to Vantaa and see Heureka, which is approximately 32 minutes away. The adventure continues: explore the world behind art at Sinebrychoff Art Museum, contemplate the long history of Mannerheim Museum, admire the landmark architecture of Johannes Church, and see the interesting displays at Finnish Aviation Museum.

Getting from Saariselka to Helsinki by flight takes about 5 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and train; or drive. Traveling from Saariselka in February, things will get somewhat warmer in Helsinki: highs are around 33°F and lows about 26°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
