Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
On the 3rd (Thu), trek along The Archipelago Trail, then enjoy the sand and surf at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, and then make a trip to Naantali Old Town. On the 4th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, explore the ancient world of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, then step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle, and finally get lost in a book at Turku City Library.

Helsinki to Turku is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. May in Turku sees daily highs of 17°C and lows of 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Helsinki.
