Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and The Esplanadi Park. Do your shopping at Market Square Kauppatori and ARTag Gallery. Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 46 minutes away). There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rock Church, browse the collection at Kallion Kirjasto, buy something for everyone on your list at Kamppi Shopping Centre, and stop by Artisaani.

Singapore, Singapore to Helsinki is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Time to Eastern European Time is minus 6 hours. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Singapore in December: high temperatures in Helsinki hover around 3°C and lows are around -3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Turku.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Tue): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral, browse the exhibits of Turku Castle, and then browse the different shops at Kauppakeskus Mylly. On the next day, take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Joella, take in the exciting artwork at Photographic Centre Peri, enjoy the sand and surf at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, admire the masterpieces at Ett Hem Museum, then buy something for everyone on your list at Turun Kauppahalli, and finally view the masterpieces at Gallery A.

Getting from Helsinki to Turku by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a train; or fly. In December in Turku, expect temperatures between 1°C during the day and -4°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Wed) to allow enough time to take a train to Tampere.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): stroll through Riihiniemen Uimaranta, then take in the exciting artwork at Laukko Manor, then take in the exciting artwork at Galleria Ronga, and finally stop by Keittioelamaa. On the 3rd (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, then kick back and relax at Rauhaniemi Beach, then explore the world behind art at Haihara Art Centre, and finally steep yourself in history at Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing.

Take a train from Turku to Tampere in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train. In January in Tampere, expect temperatures between -5°C during the day and -12°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Levi.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Get in touch with nature at Levi Ski Resort and Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. For shopping fun, head to Elan Ski Shop & Rental or LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery. There's still lots to do: admire all the interesting features of Ice Karting Levi and take a stroll through Ounasjoki - River for activities.

You can fly from Tampere to Levi in 5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Traveling from Tampere in January, expect Levi to be a bit cooler, temps between -11°C and -21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
