Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Room Escape Games. You'll get in some beach time at Aurinkolahti Beach and Hietaranta Beach. Pack the 21st (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Rock Church, brush up on your military savvy at Fortress of Suomenlinna, look for gifts at Pien, and pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Visit Turku Castle and Ruukin kehräämö ja puoti Oy for their historical value. Step out of the city life by going to Teijo national park and Ispoinen Beach and Sauna. Venture out of the city with trips to Bellevue Beach (in Hanko) and Kurjenrahka National Park (in Poytya). The adventure continues: take in the spiritual surroundings of Turku Cathedral, admire the masterpieces at Ett Hem Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Archangel Michael's church, and admire the landmark architecture of Kuusisto Manor.
