Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 29th (Sun), take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tainionkosken Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Nicholas, then trek along Malonsaari, and finally step off the mainland to explore Lammassaari Island. On the 30th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the waterfront views at Siikalahti Wetland, explore the striking landscape at Kummakivi Boulder, then look for gifts at MyGoodKnife, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Nuijamaa Church.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Shop till you drop at Hakaniemi Market and Taiga Colors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Nuuksio National Park and Brunberg Candy Factory Shop. When in Helsinki, make a side trip to see Porvoo Old Town in Porvoo, approximately Porvoo away.
